The guitars back & sides are Queensland Maple and was a part of General Douglas MacArthur furniture from his Queensland home in WW2.
The head stock is made from the Lone Pine tree that was felled in Melbourne Shrine of Remembrance. The lone soldier on the head stock is resting and is made from ebony under the Maton signature. The sound hole has an ode for my wife's grandfather.
